Enable developers to publish their own add-ons#133

D

ButterDocs does exactly what I’ve always wanted from the current leading Markdown editors like Ulysses and Bear: Bringing a good editor to the cloud. Native apps for iPhone, iPad, etc. are important, but for me it’s crucial that I can really work on my writing projects on any device.

For me, there’s one thing missing that would make ButterDocs the ultimate writing tool: The ability for external developers to implement their own plugins based on a public API and publish them for sale in ButterDocs’ own marketplace. This would allow the community to participate in development. Not much is missing for me. But the ability to develop your own add-ons, like Obsidian or Notion, would really push the ButterDocs product forward. I would be happy to support the thought process here.

I can support you to design the API and the concept for the own marketplace. Or which task you mean?

What are you trying to do that you would need a plugin/API for?

Here some use-cases for some integrations: ChatGPT, LanguageTools, Dropbox, iCloud, Amazon Kindle, BoD, etc.
